This is the funicular rising from Mala Strana (Lesser Town), at the tram stop Ujezd up 130 metres to the Petrin Hill. It has three stops during its ride and this is one of those intermediate stops. The line is 510 m long and it rises 130 m. The maximum rise is 298 ‰. The funicular dates back to 1851 but for a long time it was not operational due to damages caused by land slides. The present day funicular has been in use since 1985. The coaches and mechanisms are made by Vagonka Studenka.
